Lorinza Harrington
Lorinza Harrington was the SAC men’s basketball Player of the Year for the 2001-2002 season. He helped the Wingate Bulldogs to a 100-22 record during his four-year career. He was named to a pair of All-America teams following his senior season. He ranks second in SAC history in career assists and career steals. He is now a member of the Wingate University and South Atlantic Conference Hall of Fame. Lorinza Harrington played in the NBA for the Denver Nuggets, New Orleans Hornets, and the Memphis Grizzlies.
Tyrone McDaniel
Tyrone McDaniel was a four year letterman at Lenoir Rhyne College and is still the all time steal leader in the conference. McDaniel played professionally in Europe and South America winning multiple championships. He also played for the World famous Harlem Globe Trotters. He is now a member of the Catawba Valley Hall of Fame. His passion is helping our youth develop the fundamentals to play basketball the right way.
